Is it right to say that all the profits will go to a good cause when chances are good that it will be a long time, if ever, before any funds will go to the charity?
This is a reasonable question, because it can be deceiving if not conceived and handled properly. The following must be done to assure integrity:
The charity initially benefits not so much by additional funding, but by increased exposure, which, coupled with the commitment by a large number of artists, will ultimately yield a harvest for the sake of so many in need.
Every artist hopes on some level that their CD project will be profitable. This project requires a commitment that is big enough to make their first project a giving rather than a getting project.
